    good news, oops moment

Made it to Black Bear campground (rained all the way, wasn't forcast! LOL)

checked in was told to be careful of a low wire near site. OK.....backed up and all was fine so started looking at where to put the rv on the site.....then a twang, wire caught the front ac and king antenna. was thinking of pulling it up after i find the gasket and see if it can be bent back.....??? just seems like the frame or cage holding all the parts pulled up on one side and broke the top cover. Think it can be bent back??? What else should i look for? Of course it was still raining when i set up....so really didn't poke around hard. did not seem to have any contact with any parts. I can turn it on when i take the cover off to see if everything still works.....

and it all was going so well! Click image for larger version.

Although I don't have one, I've heard the Coleman brand are about the quietest units out there for a replacement.

Do you have a part number and is it the vented kind and have the drop down venting if wanted? Sometimes we like it cooler in the bedroom and don't want to freeze in the main living area....

Had RV Tech come out this morning and confirmed the original was a Penquin II so i am fine with that. Allstate sent out a RV adjuster and he actually spoke with the tech also. The adjuster is an rv guy himself......looks to be going smooth. Check being sent to me and i pay the tech. just over 1800 bucks for the ac and the antenna including labor, dicor etc.....saves my back for sure.
