    Boiler tube insulation

I am installing a fridge defend. There is a big gap with no insulation around the boiler tube. Is this regular fiberglass insulation, or some heat resistant type? Gets very hot in there. Thanks

There is quite a bit of information on the arprv.com site. I’d check with them to be safe.

Mine looks like it's fiberglass insulation.
I'd wondered if it might be rockwool insulation, but after looking at rockwool that's sold I see rockwool doesn't look like fiberglass insulation.

I have an email in to arpv, but thought someone here might know. I was going to be by Lowes today & was going to grab some. It looks like regular fiberglass insulation, I just want to make sure. My fridge defend should be here Monday.

At Lowe’s you can find a small package of fiberglass insulation. Maybe about 2’x2’. It was at the end of an aisle. Much more convenient than a big bag. I used one to beef up the insulation on top of my refrigerator.
