All's I see in your post is your personal opinion. Lets see some actual #'s to back it up. They maybe I would believe it.
The #'s I stated above come right off of Motor Trend. Maybe you should re-read those #'s.
And if FORD is #1 in BRAND marketing, I'll take it. Its always fun to run with the top dog.
You are entitled to your opinion & I am entitled to mine.

    Russ,

What do you expect to add to this discussion by referencing the Suburban?
You can choose to include, or not include, whatever you think is a pickup truck.
Ford does not (yet) have a mid-size pickup, so if you exclude those from GM, Ford comes out on top.
If you include these, the numbers look different. 909,330 for Ford and 973,469 for GM
Since you asked for actual numbers https://www.tfltruck.com/2019/01/yea...8-here-you-go/

So being as we are off topic so far with the "who sells the most", maybe this should be moved into its own thread. The OP's post , I think , was to get some feed back on what people prefer and why. This has nothing to do with who sells the most.
Please remain on the topic at hand or move onto something else, and also refrain from " badgering" for lack of a better word.

Thank you Brian. There wasn't anything nasty about these discussions but you could see where they were headed. One of the big pluses on this forum I think is how civil it has been when sensitive topics such as type of trucks come up. I believe that is something that shows the great family type of atmosphere that we enjoy on this forum.

Yousers, Tom ! The manufacturer/brand loyalty and too often poor behavior issues which result aside, this excerpt from the article kinda sums it up:

"Authorities said alcohol was involved, and a search of the house turned up a smoking device, three green plants, and drug paraphernalia, among other items."

To paraphrase a line spoken by Lauren Bacall to Bogart in To Have and Have Not - "John, you're just a stinker!"
I just loves me some Bogie and Bacall!

I love my Chevy truck but I'm not willing to fight over it. Unless of course you say anything remotely derogatory about GM. Then it's on like Donkey Kong!

To the OP, IMHO you can't buy a bad truck from the big three. Know what specs you need then pick one that suits your needs and tastes. Get a color you like. Get the deal you want. Buy a Ford, I'll shake your hand. Buy a Ram, I'll congratulate you. Buy a Chevy...…….well, we're buds for life.

I owned a Chevy 2500 - Ford F350 and GMC 3500 so I guess the only logical choice for me would be Ram 3500.
