    Lubrication of Tank Valve Levers

We are new to 5th wheel RVing with the Nautilus system. I have read about the need to keep the black and gray tank values lubricated. What’s the best way to lubricate them and what’s the best lubricant to use
    Thanks for your input.

CRC food grade silicone works well for waste valves.

The problem is getting the grease to the slide plate and the seals of the gate valve. I tried every type of "tank additive" without much success. The best seemed to be corn oil poured into the holding tank, but this would only work for a short time. Grease fittings on the gate valves is working really well . . . but would be complicated for most without easy access to their gate valves. See this discussion for what I am referring to https://www.mygrandrv.com/fo...009#post166009

Robs point is valid. While I am sure there might be some benefit to lubricating the handles and cable, I can tell you after a rebuild of my valves that if you are going to have a problem it will be on the valve end. Any maintenance or repair to those is going to require removal of the coroplast.
