    Kitchen faucet replacement, Momentum

I got tired of messing with the bad rinse button on the kitchen faucet, so decided to get a kitchen faucet upgrade, then DW chipped in on the purchase, we didn't get an upgrade, just a replacement. Installation was going pretty good until I went to hook the water up to the new faucet. Turns out GD used 1/2 inch female adapters on the water hose that fit the specific faucet they use. The new faucet had 3/8 inch female adapters to hook up to city water. Female to female does not let the water flow appropriately.

Back to the hardware store, found a 1/2 male to 3/8 male adapter. Put the male adapter between the odd female connections and the water flows just fine.

Very nice, but we get no picture of the shiny new business end? I’d like to imagine what a new one would look like on our sink!

It isn't that much different than the original, but I am now a believer in water softeners when in an area of high lime/calcium deposits.

Oh for sure, we installed a big 16,000 grain water softener and it definitely makes a huge difference!
