Starting my plan of attack on mods. Lots of measuring and pondering today looking to see where the best place was to install 3 Battleborns, an IC2000 inverter, all the fuses and shunts and the solar charge controller. I knew it was all going on door side given the kitchen side is about 8-900lbs heavier (trying to counterweight the trailer!). Also putting in a dirt devil central vac. All of this is going to install in the bsmt behind the wall right by the stairs (including the batteries). All I physically got done today was to install the vacuum port on the wall. I had to remove the solid steps just to get into the trailer and that was a pain (trailer is parked up side of the house with little room, no room to put solid steps out).

This may kinda turn into a build thread...

This picture just shows where the vacuum port was mounted.... as high as I could go on that wall to minimize bending!

Some success this afternoon. Had to relocate the outside quick connect water line and two electrical lines for the outside receptacle. Still need to finish the plumbing and electrical on another day. Planning on putting mixing valve on that outside water line so can have warm water for rinsing kids feet after the beach instead of cold water. Also installed the Dirt Devil vacuum, just need to install an outlet to power it. I've installed the Battleborn batteries and found my ratchet strap is too tall. Will have to get a cinch strap instead when I get a chance. All in all its a tight fit for the batteries but an efficient use of space. The 3/4" thick piece of plywood above the batteries is where I'm going to mount the fuses, shunt, solar controller, etc. Eventually will also clean up the factory wiring and plumbing.

The tray installed under the stairs:

The end of work today... batteries placed and vacuum mounted.

On a side note, the outside receptacle had no sealant, only a foam gasket. Upon reinstalling I placed some silicone on the top and sides of the gasket to ensure it was water tight.

Any progress on this? My 3740 with Onan generator, washer/dryer, goosebox, and loaded for a long trip had a pin weight of 4060#!!! I was originally planning to put batteries and inverter in the passthrough but am now looking at removing everything from the outside kitchen I never use and putting everything back there instead to help with both pin weight and left/right balancing.
