Travelling for AR to NC and back
Late March we spent three nights at Oak Hollow Campground in High Point, NC. I was nice with 30 Amp (Though they do have 50 Amp sites), water (Had to share the hydrant with another site. That was unexpected, so had to make trip to Home Depot for a splitter) and we had sewer. It was very convenient because it is actually in High Point and near our son’s house. It has a lake, has cable TV and Wi-Fi. On the way to High Point from Arkansas we stayed at the Bean Pot Campground in Crossville, TN. Is was OK for a place to stop, not unhitch and spend the night and continuing to NC. Not much space between campers. On the way back to Arkansas we stayed at Greenbrier Campground six miles out of Gatlinburg, TN. It was nice, a little creek ran around the park, had things for kids to do. I recommend it for that area, though there is not a lot of space between sites. But pretty neat, check it out if you are going that way.

We stayed at Beanpot our first night out a year ago when we went full time. Hadn’t planned on it, but got a later start from our home in the Smokies than we had planned. Agree with it being a nice pull in and sleep spot, only reason we wound up there was it was with Passport America, and was the only time we used that.
A nice park in the Greensboro area is Hagenstone. It’s a county park. Just be sure to get a site in the field area and don’t believe the last when she says no problem getting around the rest of the campground. A night spent in the road and a tow truck later we proved that wrong! Still a nice campground though!Chris and Karen - currently on the coast of the Olympic Peninsula
