I bought my 2015 to handle the 5ver I had at the time (under on axle rating, over on GVW). The Solitude put me over on axle rating hence I am now the owner of a DRW (under weight ratings all around)

Here is how I determined my actual payload. Loaded the truck with a full tank of fuel, all passengers, dogs, gear etc and then drove to the nearest CAT scale and weighed the truck. Took that number an deducted it from the truck GVWR which left me with a real number for available payload.
