    Tire Covers

Generally I would imagine most tire covers are generic but would anyone recommend one kind or brand over another?

The vinyl covers just don't last long. Especially when it gets cold, they crack as soon as you touch them.

It's worth considering covers that are white to help keep the temperature down.

Does anyone have any data to support putting covers over tires has any real effect?
I guess if you’re parked for years in one spot, but I can’t see the sun doing any noticeable damage otherwise.
It’s never damaged any of my car tires, why don’t people cover their car tires?

I also am curious about tire covers. My Reflection is in covered storage and when in use slides cover the wheels. Will covers still help prolong tire life?
Aren't we supposed to replace tires after about 6 years of use, regardless of tread wear or how they look?
