Boon docking in Jacksonville Fl on the way to Fort wilderness
We will be leaving for Fort Wilderness this week and wanted to know where would be a good place to stop and boon dock for the night. Looking to stop around Jacksonville. Would like to be some where we could get out and have dinner and let the kids move around a bit after being in the truck for 8hours. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Not boon docking but we stayed at at Crooked River State Park just north of Jax on the way from Tampa to NC. https://www.reserveamerica.com/explo...30149/overview

Maybe not really boon-docking, but we stay in Cracker Barrels that have the little motor home in the bottom right side of their large signs along the highways. We have the 303 Reflections which we can make fit. Sometimes, we use the car parking areas near the RV parking. I always ask the manager if that is OK, never had anyone say no. Dinner at night, breakfast in the morning. Can't beat it.

Bumsrest thanks for the cracker barrel idea. I told my wife about your suggestion and she was sold. We just stoped at one tonight and there was some one in a reflection here as well.

Sorry I’ve never stayed in Jacksonville but Fort Wilderness is great fun!

There is always Wall-Mart. If you get off the interstate some of the towns allow parking at their parks, etc. Found some of the best breakfast spots that way. But that was a while ago before the RV boom started again.
