Here is my weight sheet for my 2800BH, not a lot of difference between the 2400BH. I tow with a F150 and I am close to the max. It tows ok but I am getting a 2500 Diesel soon.

I still couldn’t decide whether to upgrade TV or to downgrade TT. If I choose to go with TV upgrade, I will probably have to double the budget and am not sure whether my wife will be happy with that.

    Anyway, thanks for sharing!

We just bought a 2400bh. I went through a similar process of learning and eventually executing. Our tow vehicle is a Ford Expedition. It has a tow rating of 9300 lbs with a tongue weight capacity of 930#. We are using a pro pride with 1400# bars. It is a bit early for me to declare success but am quite comfortable with the towing experience so far. I plan on taking it to a CAT scale soon to fine tune the hitch and will post the numbers as soon as possible.

Wow, first of all, congratulations on your new 2400bh!!

It's impressive that your SUV has 9300lbs tow rating. I can't wait to hear your experience with the 2400hb+expedition combination.
Please also upload some pics when you take it to a CAT scale, I'd love to see

After renting a 2400bh, we are more confident with the rig.
Therefore, we bought a 2400bh and are going to pick it up this weekend.
Right after we pick it up, we will camp in Paso Robles for two nights as a test.
We are very excited about our very first new rig.
