How to clean coils on residential frig
We have a 374TH-R and would like to know how others clean the coils. It seems that to do this you would have to pull the frig out, but that seems like quite a job.

We've purchased two residential fridges in the last 6 years and neither had any coils on the back to clean. Are you sure yours actually has coils on the back?

I've never had a residential frig that didn't have coils somewhere. The last one I had (bought in 1995) had coils on the bottom that were easily reached by taking a plastic cover off the bottom front. The one in our 5th wheel does have a small vented cover under the freezer, but don't know how to remove that. I assume there are coils down there.

I looked for the coils for our Samsung residential refrigerator today. I'm an appliance technician and there is no coils under the refrigerator. I'm betting the sides of the refrigerator has the condenser coils in them. Our home freezer is that way. That's a great way to get rid of the heat without a fan or maintenance. KEN

I've wondered why the sides seemed to be a bit warm at times. Guess I won't worry about cleaning any coils. Thanks for the info.
