    Flagpole Buddy Owners---Need Your Advice

Asking current owners of the Flagpole Buddy system, or anyone with any constructive advice concerning using a flag pole.

If you where to do it all over again, what would you buy?

    Aluminum or Fiberglass?

    16 ft. or 22 ft. ?

Are you happy with this brand or would you look elsewhere?

    Thanks,

I just got mine before my last trip to the beach in March and so far I like it. I really wanted an aluminum pole because I broke my last fiberglass pole but, to be honest, I couldn't find one I liked that wasn't too expensive for my blood. I definitely recommend the 22 ft pole. As far as the brand goes, I remember, before I bought this and had some cheesy other brand, we were at the GD National Rally and there must have been 50 of the Flag Buddy setups! It convinced me.

SO this is the 22 ft pole. I don't think it would look right with the shorter pole.

PS. I got their light too, which was way expensive in my view, but man it works great!

I bought our telescoping flagpole from Uncommon USA, but man are they pricey. I justified the expense because I use the same pole in front of our house too. Right now, they are having a sale which reduces their prices by about 20%.

I went with the Flagpole Buddy 22' fiberglass topped with a solar led light. If it gets too windy I just lower it down 1-2 sections. Here's a photo from last weekend. Moose and Cooper are providing campsite security. lol

We tend to camp in heavily wooded areas so we went with the 16' aluminum pole. A taller pole would get tangled in the trees. Works fine for us, would do it again.

I second the uncommon brand. I have one in front of the house and this is what I would use on the RV as well if we used a telescopic pole. It has been through 80-90 mph plus straight-line winds (we live in the Midwest/tornado alley) with two flags and has had zero damage.
