Hauler Body?
I've been thinking about building a custom bed for my next truck and I came across a company called "Utility Body Werks" and it turns out they make something very much like what I had in mind. They call this a "Hauler Body". I was wondering if anybody has used these or heard of them.
Now the rest of the story... DW and I are planning to sell the house and go full time in the somewhat near future. On our last trip, we were right at max weight on the trailer and we're not even close to having enough stuff to live in it. It has become clear that I need the heaviest truck I can find and figure out how to load as much on the truck as I can. Are these bodies worth it?
Thanks in advance for your input.

They are in Elkhart , Indiana.
Great truck body. Have one on my Freightliner. Do not recall the cost. I probably have 2,000 lbs of tools, chains , generator, and parts in mine at all time, with room to spare.

They are quite popular among full-timers in the Escapees RV Club. We don't have any needs that the stock truck bed can't fulfill, so I can't justify the cost of a hauler bed... but they look really cool.

Yes. They look awesome! I called them today and got the price sheet. Let's just say you need to be committed. On the plus side (maybe) is they are a certified (or whatever) completion shop so it can be rolled into the financing of a new truck.
It's the American way right? Why pay for something when you can borrow for it?
