Transfer Flow Replacement Fuel Tank - F150 Gasser!

As if payload wasn't already an issue with F150 series trucks, Transfer Flow is now starting to offer a 50 gallon replacement fuel tank for gasoline powered trucks. I still don't see any replacement gasoline tanks for F250/F350s though.

Assuming that "replacement" means under the box and not in it . . . the OE F150 tank is 35 gallons. This would seem to be a lot of complication and expense to gain 15 gallons. And there is definitely that "payload problem" that you mentioned .

"Expense" is about $1800 US plus installation. Wow.

I think cost/benefit anaylsis would lead me to Walmart for 3 - 5 gal gas cans.

I can get a 61 gallon replacement tank for my truck from them $1664 , would almost double my distance from my 36 gallon stock tank. Payload is not a problem for me (I have a chevy)

    Jim,
Transfer Flow does have a replacement tank for your model truck/fuel. (Just looked this up as I have a 2013 Ford F-250.)
50 gallons, $1170.00. Installation Extra of course.
    Parts# 0800116275. $1170.99 for the tank.

Transfer Flow has tanks for F250/F350 Diesels. I have a 50 Gal tank on mt 2012 F350 short bed SRW. It replaces the stock 26 Gal tank. It was on the truck when I bought it. The only thing is it is steel. Mine started to rust badly. Ended up painting it with POR-15 rust stopping paint. I called the company and the first thing he asked is did I live in the northeastern states. He told me that you could order the tank with truck bed liner coating tohelp prevent rust. Brine and salt on the roads in winter can do a job on the underside.

I already have one on my '16 F350 diesel. The point I was trying to make is they are now offering them for gasoline powered trucks.

My bad. I overlooked the word gasoline in the last sentence on the 250/350.
