Lake Catherine State Park

Our first stay at Lake Catherine Arkansas State Park this past weekend was fun. There were a couple Solitudes, 1 Reflection and another Imagine there. Back to the park, it is 12 miles off of I-30. Really good roads in, and most sites are fine for RV’s. There are the typical 30/50 amps, water and sewer sites, 30A and water sites. Some along the lake had great views. Bathhouses/Restrooms were great. You can rent boats and several varieties. And the hiking was great. We will go back it was nice. Better reserve well in advance. Close the Hot Springs, Horse Racing, Garvan Gardens is a beautiful place especially at Christmas time and is really close to the park.

We love the Hot Springs area and the Ark. state parks we’ve been to. LCSP 3 times , from Texas. Petite Jean is another really nice one.
