    Kitchen consumable list?

What essentials spices/consumables do you keep in the kitchen? I have to imagine there are some folks out there who have refined some lists or must haves for the kitchen.

Same as we had in the stix 'n brix - spice rack mounted on the inside bottom of the pantry door. Anything that doesn't fit in the spice rack is in tubs in the pantry.

Seriously - When don't leave spices in the RV when in storage. The temperature extremes when it's stored will decrease the shelf life. We pack spices based upon the meals we plan on cooking.

I didn't consider the part-time/storage thing, Jim. I shouldn't have been so flippant.

Yes - we do what we do because the rig is never in storage... it's our full-time home.

Not much with us, mostly salt, pepper and seasoned salt. Our cooking is pretty simple and generally on the grill or the flat top.

When we went full time I decided to drop a lot of the spices I used to keep. Slowly the collection started to build until just the essentials became a rack as big as We used to keep. Face it, taste is taste. Now days though it is smaller containers.

When we were't in the trailer so much I just grabbed what we needed for the trip out of the house. Now we are in the trailer more than the house we keep aa full stock of seasonings we use frequently in air tight containers.
