    Dometic Fridge Exterior Fans

Last day of our week long stay. No issues with anything until this afternoon. Noticed the light in the fridge does not come on and the external fans are no longer running. Is there a fuse somewhere I can't find? Checked 15 amp at converter. Found a 4 amp in rear. Any other ideas? Fridge is still cooling. No emergency. Woke this morning, fridge is at 34 degrees. Crazy! No light, no fans yet. TIA
    Thank you!

How's your battery. I may be wrong but I believe the light and fan are 12 volt items.

I don't know about the light but I don't think the fans run unless a temperature threshold is exceeded at the cooling unit. I have a Norcold, the fans run more often when the sun is beating down on the kitchen slide, almost never hear them at night. All the controls operate @ 12v. The only 120v item running would be the electric heating element used as the source of heat in place of gas.

    Thanks!

Bulb checked good. Fans where not running during 92 degree heat on Friday, fridge up to 44 degrees. Not sure if bulb(light) circuit is same as fans, this would make sense i guess.
    Thank you!

See if your user manual shows a limit switch. May be power in and not out = no fans

I believe there is a fuse on back bottom fridge access. Should be in an enclosed small plastic cover....mine was on right side

    Problem Solved!

Finally had a few minutes to look at the fridge. Bottom left of control board has a mini auto fuse that was blown. This fuse (F) (5 amp) is part of the circuit that powers the interior light and fans. The prongs of the fuse appeared to have been hot/burned. The fuse was not seated well into the socket which no doubt created a high resistance. Best I can tell, P5 powers the fans via a relay (M) and P6 powers the interior light.

Thanks to all for the input.
