Nice of you to offer another option, but in my opinion....please leave it as it is. Nothing drives me crazier then ads that I could really care less about popping up! This is a great forum with no junk interfering and it's worth the small costs as far as I'm concerned.

I vote to keep forum as is. Thank you for all you do. I am not very computer savy, I tried to become sponsor with credit card, seen you only take pay pal. As soon as I figure out to set that up I will be a sponsor!

Woohoo! I figured out paypal! Lol. It only took 5 months but I am now a paid sponsor. Thanks again for all you do, Chris, and thanks for your patience. I can't wait to get to see all the pics I've been missing!

This. I feel like we are cutting the flow of information short. Let everyone have full access, but sponsors get it add free.

I did just notice two spam messages in the forum today, so as I understand these spammers can post instantly by creating new accounts but my established account with posts to my credit are moderated with a delay (sometimes many hours) before being posted?

    Something seems broken.......

As Trial Members, yes, Spammers get full access to the forum without their posts being moderated, but are very soon banned as soon as they are pointed out or found to be spammers.

VBulletin randomly selects posts and all Threads from Registered Guest to be moderated and as soon as I see moderated post or threads they are validated.

LC, when Chris started this forum over a year ago, he had another forum that he owned and needed help with this one. He needed a moderator to keep an eye on this forum for him so I volunteered. So to answer your question, no, this is not my full time job, but then again, maybe it is I am retired and just enjoy helping Chris out with this forum.

And you both, Steve & Chris, are doing a great job!

I too spend quite a bit of time browsing these pages and have yet to encounter a spammer.

The Facebook page for owners is useful also, but this forum is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
