I have searched and came up with a 4 pack from Redline BP19-005. Napa also has a part number for them. I searched everyplace in my local town this morning and could not find them. I wound up using a small gauge stainless steel wire thread through the back plate and then pulled the wire out After the drum was secured in place. So far this afternoon I rehabbed three of the four drums. Both right side seals were leaking but had not made it to the shoes yet and both were missing the clip. I got the left side front done and it was not leaking and it had the magnet clip. I will get the last one in the morning. I just wonder how the axles were assembled at the factory without the clips. The only thing I can come up with is they are assembled while the axle is held up vertically.

Edit to add: the final axle was leaking too and also had the magnet clip. So 75% of my seals were leaking.
Another observation was the 8K pound axles on my Momentum are auto adjusting.

I've been reading the posts regarding the issues with the axle seals and brakes. Taking a 2 week road trip in late July and I decided, for peace of mind, to get the axles and brakes inspected. After the 3-4 hour job at the RV repair, Mike, the owner, called me and asked if I have ever had the axles greased before. I said no, it's the first time, why? He said that the axles were excessively greased and were leaking into the brakes. Also, he added that a wire was disconnected from the brakes. I can't tell you how many times I have read this on this topic here on the forum. What's up? Is it common practice to do this? Has Grand Design addressed this issue?

Just as a heads up for those that have a Reflection 27RL & 29RS fifth wheels, those part numbers for the bearings and seals as provided in this thread are not correct for these two units. The 27 and 29 use 10" hubs and hence have smaller bearings and seals. If anyone needs those part numbers, I have them.

Art, in the process of switching to disc brakes we discovered one brake wire disconnected.
