There doesn’t seem to be a way to do this online on txdot.gov

I haven’t used the site to renew yet, as I traded truck & rv in the fall, so I had to go to tax office and sign self inspection form. So silly.

I was transitioning into full-timing. I am now an Escapee from Livingston, Texas.

It's not the registrations that are going away, it's the annual safety inspections.

Living in Texas. Just yesterday (3/26) I had my truck inspected and then drove to the county tax office to get my truck registration renewed. While there I asked about my RV and the lady pulled out a form, pulled my RV trailer information, she filled in the body and I filled in the address, signed and got my sticker for the RV license plate. No longer having to hook up and pull it to a garage for inspection. Glad I asked her about the RV. FYI- Soon no need to do inspection for non-commercial vehicles starting in 2025.

I was really happy we get to self certify our rvs now. Our county only had one inspection place that would/could do it after they started the crap about it must be inspected inside a shop. Thankfully the noncommercial inspection goes away completely in 2025
