What's the best way to lift your rig, how do you do it?

Very confusing info out there, from the mfg's to what the mfg reps do at the rallies, the manuals of the Auto level vs the brochure, ect.. Jack by the frame only, not the axle, however read where at a rally the axle reps doing brake jobs had jacked from the axles, against they're own recommendation. I want to raise a wheel, or side at a time and check my brake adjustments. Can one safely do this with the leveling system even though the manual says not to? How do you go about it? Thanks for your input

I use the hydraulic leveling jacks to take the weight off of the axles with the tires still on the ground and then use a floor jack to lift each axle at a time to take off the wheel. I put the floor jack under the U bolts.

I did the same. Used auto levelers to unload springs, left enough tire contact to break nuts loose. Used a bottle jack under U bolt to raise one wheel at a time when I adjusted brakes and changed the brakes to discs.

I used the leveling system to adjust my brakes as well. Worked well. I wouldn't sit under the tires however.

Namlehse, do you lift the side up with the level up system only or use jacks as well?

I just used the leveling system with blocks I made out of 2x10's. I thought about putting a jack under it to raise the axle, however I was afraid it would be in the way of the adjusting. I have an air operated bottle jack for the really bad issues. Hopefully those never arise.

Going to do this, for clarification adjust the brakes to a heavy dragging and then back off 5 clicks?

What about for those that don't have the auto-leveling system?
