I just got a Imagine 2150 I had the screens installed on the vents. I have had 3 tent trailers, getting bigger with each one. I have had wasps in my furnace & water heater at different times when camping. I no longer need to remember to spray the vent openings with bug spray. Don

We just took position of our 2950RL and this is one of the first mods I wanted to do. We have issues with these pests here in Texas. We priced the screens at various places and they are sure proud of them for just a piece of screen wire. So instead of paying $25 for the cupped screens just for the heater we made our own. Went to Lowe's and bought a 36"x48" roll of aluminum screen wire for $8. Couple of hours later and its done. Here is a pic of our refer covers.

I have the screens to keep the wasps out. Never regretted it.
There's speculation that these pesky critters combined with poor maintenance have caused a plane to crash. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BirgenairSteve and Cheryl

Screens are a "must" in Tennessee for dirt Dobbers and field mice. Just remember to check em periodically to insure they are brushed clear for air flow. For the field mice I buy peppermint oil from Walmart and cut it 50% w water and spray where mice might want to nose around.

I had screens on my last camper...one of the first things I bought for the new Imarine. Also, if you're in an area with wasps, be really careful when you open the cover on the power pedestal at the campgrounds. They like to build nests there. Worse I have ever been stung.

We have the Camco stainless steel screens on fridge, HW htr, and furnace. No problems thru our first season with the RV. My dealer did advise that the appliance manufacturers would void their warranties with the screens installed (if they become aware of them). He said he has them on his camper and never had a problem. Was told this as I picked up my RV after warranty work on the inside stove.
