In answer to the question I have to change my vote. Here at the Rally one of the service requests I asked for was to have the grease seals checked. I was pretty sure I was ok because last year, due to a bent axle, I had all that stuff replaced. But Nooooooo, I got hit. They found 1 of the 4 new hubs had leaked. So that was repaired and the other 3 were all taken apart and repacked and I'm good to drive home and live happily ever after.

Wonder how that works since prior, the frame and axle assembly were delivered to GD from LCI as an assembled unit. Now with LCI providing the frame and Dexter the axles, where are these axles being attached to the LCI frames. Msybe frames being shipped to the Dexter plant?

Bet there weren't many high 5's in the LCI Board Room when GD made that decision.

Which adds another assembly process (storage, assembly, manpower) that heretofore, GD didn't have to do. Wow GD really must of been pissed off with Lippert or Dexter really undercut Lippert on the cost of axles.

While on the Solitude plant tour yesterday, we saw LCI chassis/frames without axles stacked outside.
In a separate pile, we saw Dexter axles.
I asked the tour guide (one of the sales guys) if they were using Dexter axles across all GD lines.
    He said yes.

In my factory tours the previous two years, I saw LCI chassis/frames with the LCI axles already attached
    stacked outside the plants.

minnow101, this was the same situation with my Imagine where I submitted a no vote since I also did not have grease on my brakes. Lippert sent the seals for free and I performed a hub cleaning, bearing re-pack and brake adjustment. So far so good after 1k miles.

Doing our PDI last week on our 2018 GD 310GK, I asked the Tech what axles were on our trailer. He crawled underneath and said the axles read LCI on them. Guess I have to have them check the seals before we take it off the lot.

Yep, have them checked and bearings repacked. If greased brakes, have them replaced.LCI has authorized to pay for this in the past. You dealer, or you can get the pre-authorization.
