I went with the post covers again on this trailer. I am going to add a 3rd for my sewer hose but use these for storage of my collapsible ladder, flag pole, fishing rids and hiking poles. These are located at the rear of the trailer but I will position my sewer hose holder where the factory one is currently.

@TomHaycraft and @Poppy - That's the first I had heard of the fence post storage solution. Pretty cool.

Hi, I saw your pictures of the fence post storage solution. You mentioned the collapsing ladder. I see it, but after searching online I can't find the exact item. Can you point me to the manufacturer or the name of the ladder? How sturdy is the ladder?

    Thanks in advance.

I'll check to see what I can find on the manufacturer. It's fairly sturdy and I use it all the time for cleaning the trailer when we're on the road but I'm a pretty small guy at 5'6 and 155 lbs. Just sayin'

    YMMV

I believe I have the same ladder as shown here:
    http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...g-ladder/20319

I find it to be very sturdy. I love it and wouldn't be without one for the RV.

    Hi,
I have the same one as well. GPLogistics. SLD-D7. When you are shopping, pay attention to the size....it comes in 7ft and 6ft models. Make sure to compare prices for the same size. I found that when I saw a much cheaper price...it was actually for the 6ft model (fine print). I got mine at Lowes.com for 108.00 but I don't think they offer it any more. Also it's a class 2 (225lbs)

That's the one I carry in my post cover holders. Thanks for posting that link Brian.

Dang y'all! All these positive posts about the collapsible A-frame ladder got me thinkin' (a terrible thing to do this early in the day).

My last trailer didn't have a roof ladder, so I purchased the telescoping ladder. It served it's purpose well, but limited to use here I can lean it against something. With the OEM ladder on back of the Reflection, I don't really have a need for the telescoping ladder ... but sure would be nice to have an A-frame ladder from time to time ...

Ladder ordered from Camping World (better price than Amazon, both are GP Logistics brand, both 7-footers). Back to Lowe's this weekend to purchase another fence post and parts to run the double setup like Poppy's.

    Safe travels.

It's a pretty cool ladder because of how small it folds up. I couldn't find the fence post covers so I ended up making some brackets and mounted mine on the ceiling of the basement storage bay. Just fits side to side.
