    New owner 2017 311BHS

Manufactured in December and already had maiden camp trip. Loving it so far. Very minor issues noticed that are easy fixes.

Learned a lot on the first trip using the Lippert 3.0 6 point system. Had to recalibrate it since the dealer baselined it to the cargo floor being level and not the living space floor, plus legs went out of stroke in the back and pretty much tried to lift the trailer until I got the hang of it.

Found some cheap fasteners snapped in some places in the underbelly, likely driven in with drill and over-torqued. Overall very happy campers from Pensacola, FL.

On a side note the Curt Q16 hitch I had installed is terrible and I regret that purchase . From what I have leaned I should have bought the B&W.

Greg, how has the camper been? Found a 2017 for sale, like the floor plans. I understand all campers will have their issues, just looking for what you think about it after a couple seasons.

    NC Army Camper,

We purchased a new 2017 311BHS in March of 2017. We have been very impressed with the construction and the overall unit. We have had a few problems, but nothing major and GD customer service quickly jumped on the problem and helped us out (even when we were out of warranty). We had the outdoor shower/sprayer quick connect broke, the electrical plug in the outdoor kitchen broke (replaced with one from amazon). On our first year checkup, GD authorized the replacement of the brakes and axle seals due to grease leaking (common problem in 2017) and replaced the thermostats. That's about all of the trouble we have had.

Usually when we go glamping we have 7 adults and our 2 grand girls and we have found that the 311BHS has lots of room. To me the key to any RV is making sure that you do the maintenance and keep it clean inside and out.

That looks like campsite 21 or 22? It is Campground A. Love that place. Welcome, glad you are enjoying it.

Welcome to the forum, neighbor! (I'm in Navarre.) I hope you'll find this forum as friendly and informative as I have during my time here. Lots of "gray beards" with pearls of wisdom locked in their craniums that they willingly share.

Seriously, if you have a question fire away.

Thanks! The unit is still amazing! Lived in it for about 180 days so far and very impressed with the construction

We've had our 323BHS for 4 years and continue to love it. We ordered ours deleting the dinette and with the SuperSofa--12' of wallhugger leather recliners/loveseat. We stash our grandkids in the bunkhouse watching cartoons and playing games, so the adults have their space. I just love having the extra room, and our bunkhouse sleeps 5 people (good friends.)

You should really enjoy your 311, and I'm sure it will do a good job for your family and friends for a long time.
