My setup is in my signature. I weighed the rig when I was loaded for camping and had two passengers in the truck. We were 500 lbs overweight for the GVWR but under a good margin on both axles and according to my door sticker I should have 2300# of cargo capacity. I would be very cautious with getting anything much heavier than a 303 due to being comfortable with the stability, pulling and stopping.

    Thanks everyone!!!

I pull a 17 Solitude 374 TH with a 2015 F-250 with the 6.8 and Airlift bags in the back. Had it for about a month and pulled from Al to FL with no issues.

Sorry this is later. I hope it helps others.
    We have a 2013 GMC 2500HD Duramax.
    We pull a TT 2016 Reflection 313RLTS
It will also tow the TT 2018 Reflection 315RLTS
Since GMC is rated for 15000+lbs, there is margin in both TTs for mountain passes.
I have nooooo problems going over mountain passes in our rig.

There is some good - and not-so-good - advice above. As stated or inferred by several, it's more about real world payload than published "towing capacity." Our 2013 GMC 2500HD CC D/A had a real-world (CAT scales with fuel, passengers, Andersen hitch, and "junk") payload/rear axle capacity of 3,100 lbs. left over for pin weight. Our 337 scales between 2,900 and 3,200 lbs. on the pin (the GVWR of the trailer is 13,990) depending on the time of year and how we're loaded. We moved to a 1-ton DRW as soon as we could. For safety, I would stay at 12,000 GVWR or below with a 2500HD. The Wizard of Oz said, "Pay no attention to he man behind the curtain." In this case, pay no attention to dry weights or published (empty) pin weights. It's all about loaded weights and only others with the RV(s) you are considering and the CAT scales can guide you on that.

We tow a 303 with a 2016 Chevy 2500 duramax. It does great but I wouldn't go any larger than the 303. I just saw someone at the dealer with a new Montana ( don't know the model but it was BIG) and a truck identical to mine. I thought "good luck". The dealer will tell you anything to sell a trailer, even if the advice is dangerous!

2017 311bhs w/ my 2007 3/4 ton Duramax. I installed the Firestone automatic air bags. We looked at the Solitudes first, but I felt they were just too heavy for my truck.
