Yes, Kathe and I are in La Posa South. We'll be here for a few more weeks, then flying to NY for Christmas with grandkids, then back for the Rally.

Cool!
We were scouting out locations around Quartzite today, while our Reflection is parked at a friend's ranch in Salome.
We're leaving here Thursday and more than likely heading to Dome Rock, we liked it a little better than the other spots, much less crowded.
Hopefully we'll swing by and say Hi and compare notes on our solar setups!Resistance is Not Futile, It's Voltage Divided by Current.

Hey since you mentioned it...
I have a Mr. Heater Big Buddy I would like to trade for a Mr Heater Little Buddy, if anyone is interested.
We use it all the time, but can't run it long even on low, it makes our little camper into a sauna.
Would be nice to trade someone for the smaller version, I think it puts out like 1/4 as much heat.
Also have one of those counter top ice makers that we have only used 3 or 4 times since buying it new in May.
Would like to sell that or trade it for an air fryer.Resistance is Not Futile, It's Voltage Divided by Current.

We were getting on average 3 bars Verizon and T-Mobile all around the different camping areas around Quartzite.
However, that just means there are towers close by. Bars do not equal bandwidth.
This is a fact proven time and time again by my wife's hotspot being 4x faster than mine even though I will have 4 bars to her 1.
I was talking to one of the locals who is some kind of telecom engineer and he said that the engineers that setup the towers and infrastructure for that area did so based on x number of users, the local population and other factors. But in January the local population grows by a factor of 10 which overloads the the towers resulting in much lower bandwidth for everyone, and in some cases dropped calls, and during peak usage hours it is possible to be shutout completely, i.e., no connection at all.Resistance is Not Futile, It's Voltage Divided by Current.
