The trailer did seemed a bit pin light to me... so I weighed it... a hair over 2000lbs. Only thing added from factory is full propane tanks and a 2/3 full tank of water. I have the schematic and the fresh tank is over the trailer axles and should not affect pin weight all that much. Guess I have plenty of left over room for a washer/dryer combo given my payload is 3840... evening taking into account passengers, extra fuel tank and hitch!

Check out the hot water flex line going to the tank 90 degree fitting... to the pex tee. This line is under tension pulling the elbow at the tank straight out. A ticking time bomb!

Eeeek! the hot water flexible hoses are the first to leak. You should replace that section with actual PEX and use a straight fitting instead of that 90. In reality all of the flex hose should be replaced with PEX, but look at the strain on that piece.

Don't want to derail the thread, but where do you find a diagram showing the tank locations? I haven't come across that yet. Looking for the 303.

    Thanks, in advance.

Knowing that I'd be close on payload and pin weight with a SRW truck I wanted to know grey/black/fresh tank locations so I could guesstimate the effect of full tanks on pin weight. My original request to Grand Design for a drawing showing tank locations was denied citing proprietary information. When I responded back and advised that as a SRW owner this information was a necessity and they could be liable if they chose to not give me this crucial information. I was then provided a basic screen snap of the chassis schematic with all 5 tanks. I was told not to share this information and agreed. So sorry, but can't post it!

Is this top secret information worth your life, Mr. Powers?? Or how about we give you, say, one BILLION dollars?

I've seen the tank locations on my trailer, very scientific. In general they cram the waste tanks in closest to their source and the FW tank in whatever space is left over. Grand Design would do their customers a real solid if they could give up the details of their space age wiring, plumbing and tank placement.

Congrats on your new S Class. I have my eye on the 2930. I'm surprised your pin weight is so low. Usually GDRV's unloaded pin and tongue weights are quite optimistic. Hope you post your pin weight after you're loaded up.

I plan to once I load it up. I have the scale so I plan to weight before each trip. More than happy to post the weights once I figure them out.
