Has anybody else noticed diesel is cheaper than gas now in some places?

I noticed when we got back from our winter in Southern California that diesel is now cheaper than gas in central Oregon. About $.10 - $.15/gallon cheaper. I haven't seen this in many, many years. Has this happened in any other parts of the country?

    Hi Brian,

They are getting close . . . summarized a bunch of different ways on this website. https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/pet_pri_gnd_dcus_nus_w.htm

When we left for the winter, diesel was about $.30/gallon more than gas. That's a big swing ($.45/gallon) here in my neck of the woods.

Diesel still costs more here than regular, but hasn't been rising like gas prices have lately.

Where I'm at, gas is $2.59/gallon and diesel is $2.80/gallon. To put things into perspective though, when I bought my first diesel truck, a 2011 F250 in Oct. 2010, diesel here was $2.89/gallon. Of course it has gone up and down many times between then and now, but overall, it's still less now than when I first started buying it.

I got gas yesterday for $1.59.

Unfortunately, it was at Taco Bell.

Here in Northern Nevada, I found the same thing a couple days ago...diesel about $.15 cheaper than regular. It’s been a while since I’ve seen that also.

Here's hoping that pricing makes it's way to Southern Nevada!

It sure isn't in Indiana... Diesel is probably 40 cents higher here.
