Hi Itchy44,
Great thread title BTW . . . I guess I must be one or the other .
I have voiced my opinion, in the past, on this forum, that you can run new trucks to their rated specs.
I have been hauling our 303RLS for 5 years and 24,000 miles with an Ecoboost HDPP F150 with the same sticker payload as your truck.
We have the same spec tires. Check your rear GAWR to make sure you would be less than that.

Itchy,
If you haven't seen this post yet, please check it out:
How To Determine Your Truck's Trailer Towing Capability

Using the tools in that thread you can play with "what if" scenarios with any number of tow vehicle and trailer combinations.
Hope it helps...

My GAWR is 2913

Hi Itchy44,
I think you should double check that rear GAWR number.
Most of the payload is on the rear axle and that number would say that the back of your empty truck weighs only 500 lbs! (2913 - 2380 = 533)
If that rear GAWR number is correct, your rear tires have more than twice the capacity of the axle.
This could definitely be a limitation to towing a 303RLS.

My mistake the actual door sticker says rear gawr is 6500. I took the other weight off of a ram web site.

He could add 1 spring per side and get that.
I was just explaining to someone that the only difference between my rig and a 250 (apples to apples here) is an extra spring, taller bed blocks and the rear diff holes +800ml fluid. Otherwise same motor. Same axle same tranny etc. so.....to the OP look at your Axle rating and your GCWR. IF your within those ratings then you’ll be safer then a lot of folks out there. You my not be “legal “ but capable. Just my opinion.2018 F-350 6.7L diesel SRW CCSB Lariat with OEM rolling tonneau
