    Ugh...Two timers club.

Weighed my rig and was 600 lbs over. Wished I had been more savvy when I got into camping. Live, Learn and sometimes pay the cost. Overkill, but went with a 2019 Platinum F350 6.7 4x4 LB DRW.

I really hope you had other reasons to get a new truck besides the measly little 600lbs over weight? Really...

Just don't let the DW know you now have the capacity to pull one of those beautiful Solitudes.

And you'll love the truck--same as mine ('cept yours is a bit newer).

If GD made a solitude with the rear Bath bed like a 311BHS I would own one of those.

Made the mistake of showing my wife the scale ticket and she was freaking out a bit. Liability and all that stuff. So, I just bought my last truck ever. Of course that’s what I said three trucks ago.

I will post a picture here in a day or two. This truck cost more than my first two houses.

    Hey AZ,
Dunno what you had before, and curious to hear what TV prompted such a big move ??

I've got a F-250 wt a GCWR of 20K. I've towed two different 5rs all over the US totaling 25, 000 miles in all.
First trip CAT scales had me at 19,500...BUT I was over the trucks GVWR by 900 lbs !!!
I was under weight on both front and rear axle ratings, though by couple of hundred lbs.
For years I read that Ford under-rates their actual rated capacity to include a 10 +% safety factor.
That means almost 1,000 lbs to play with.
I always felt the axle ratings were the most important re actual weight GVW capacities, anyway.

My TV is a well-maintained 2001 7.3 PSD and its still going strong.
I travel much lighter now wt my 2017 307 MKS with a hitch weight of 1600 lbs. and a UVW of 9,872 lbs.
