    Hi Bruce,

    MORryde makes a nice heavy duty shackle kit with new wet bolts and bronze bushings. If your suspension is original, I can guarantee that your spring eye bushings are shot. Lots of discussion on this in a much earlier thread, right down to the PN level for a 303. Let me know if you can't find this.

    How many miles have you travelled? Equalizers are not cheap . . . but, they do wear. If you have everything else apart anyway . . . maybe worth replacing these at the same time?

    If that tire wear is very recent and only at the location where the hanger broke, everything will probably be OK once the hanger is repaired. When you replace the tires, keep a close eye on this location to make sure.

    Keep us updated!

    Rob;
    I searched many threads on the subject and can't find the posting with the part numbers. I would greatly appreciate if you could dig up that info for me.
    Related question. Cant seem to find a definite answer about tires. Looks like the 2017 Reflection 303rls will accept only 15" tires unless modifications are made to the suspension. Appears 15" tires are only rated up to "E". Is this true?
    Have ordered the spring hanger from Lippert. 3 day UPS delivery. Hope to have it welded Jan 4th and then work my way to Quartzsite.
    Thanks;
    Bruce

    Hi Bruce,

    I can't find those shackle discussion threads either . @TucsonJim, you were part of those discussions . . . can you find these threads??

    There used to be a chart on this MORryde page showing each of their kits . . . but, I only see "?" where the charts are supposed to be. http://www.morryde.com/products/70-h...le-upgrade-kit To get the exactly right bolt lengths, you have to make sure you get the kit for LCI Correct Track suspension. This is (apparently) a seldom requested kit so I had to special order it. But, MORryde does not sell retail. So I had to work through an internet seller (I think it was Tweety's . . . but I can't recall for sure). Until this discussion, I had forgotten how totally annoyed I was with MORryde over their whole run-around process .

    The chassis change to allow 16" tires on a 303 was the addition of a 2" square tube spacer between the frame rails and the spring hangers. I think you already have these square tubes . . . but, please double check if you decide to go for larger wheels.

    You are correct that the max tire spec for 15" wheels is "E" at 80 psi. This is more than enough tire for the weight of the 303. If you go beyond this, you will be giving the trailer a harsher ride. The suspension and tire are supposed to share the absorbing of road impacts. Over-strengthening the tires will mean more work for the suspension and the trailer interior/contents will be getting a rougher ride. Bigger wheels and heavier tires will also mean more unsprung weight for the suspension to handle. I stayed with 15" wheels (you have probably figured that out from the above ) Both Goodyear Endurance and Maxxis M8008 are quality 15" "E" spec trailer tires.

    While looking for HD Shackle info, I stumbled across these MORryde kit instructions (not the correct kit, but similar)
    Note the floor jack lifting the center of the axle tube!

    I belive this would be the correct kit from Mor Ryde with the Correctrac hangers.

    If you wanted to add the Mor Ryde X factor cross brace, you will need this for the Correctrac hangers:

    I used both of these kits as well as the CRE-3000 equalizer when I upgraded my suspension a couple years back.

    minnow101 gave me the idea to check my email files
    I remember there being something about the UO12-029 kit not being exactly right for factory Correct Track, so they came up with UO12-031.

    This quote from [email protected] in a March 2017 email to me . . . "As long as the Correct Track was factory installed the UO12-031 will work"

    I don't know if Jennifer is still the right contact . . . but, it would be a place to start.

    Here's the contact I had with Mor Ryde recently:

    I would definitely confirm with her what kit is needed. The CorrectTrac throws a monkey wrench into determining what works.

    Thanks for all the info in this thread. I feel like I have information overload.
    Like most discussions, whenever one question gets answered it creates two more questions.
    Lippert is shipping my replacement rear spring hanger 3 day ups. I have a mobile repair tech scheduled to replace the broken spring hanger and reconnect the suspension next Friday, 1/4. With the New Years holiday who knows when the part will show up. Anyway, whenever it gets fixed I will head for Quartzsite. Hope to be there a few days early.
    Anyway, if anyone would like to continue this discussion please look for me. 2017 Reflection 303rls. 2004 F350 diesel dually, black with Minnesota plates.
    See you in Quartzsite.
